Job opening - GIS Manager at The New York City Department of Information Technology & Telecommunications (New York, NY)

• Oversee and manage the maintenance of the Citywide Street Centerline (CSCL) database and maintenance system which is an enterprise geo database that supports multiple initiatives and City agencies including public safety;


• Manage and oversee staff in a multi-user, multi-agency distributed editing environment;


• Interface and coordinate with City agencies receiving replicated copies, plan and execute future enhancements, and support existing operations;


• Maintain quality control and quality acceptance standards and procedures;


• Oversee and support ArcGIS Server processes and services;


• Manage special GIS projects and initiatives as assigned.

Hours/Shift: Day - Due to the necessary technical management duties of this position in a 24/7 operation, candidate! may be required to be on call and/or work various shifts such as weekends and/or evenings
