We are looking for a QA Automation Engineer to join our Bangalore team. He who knows how to show the developers that the bu(ck)g stops at the QA!

This is a ground-level opportunity to work in a cross-border startup and learn from the people who have done it couple of times. You'll closely work with product management, architecture and peer engineering team to implement an orchestration engine for various data sources.

We are a startup. We don't have manicured lawns (at least, yet!) but plenty of opportunity to create, plumb and manicure code. Bitzer Mobile is a well-funded silicon valley based startup in the Enterprise Mobility space with significant traction and an experienced startup team. Globally we are 20 people team and our Bangalore team is small (eight right now) and growing.

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop Silk/Selenium/<your favorite open source UI testing tool> based framework of test scripts/programs to validate web applications across multiple browser families
• Create and document Quality Assurance processes
• Create tools/test scripts in JavaScript for testing browser UI
• Develop a dirty web app as backend for Automation Framework as well as frontend for black box and internal users to run/view Automation Framework
• Lead SCRUM Activities for multiple projects
• Train new hires on agile methodologies and processes
• Participate in the creation of a few brand new cross-platform testing framework which we have been dreaming to create on iOS and Android

Desired Skills & Experience:

The most desirable candidate would be a former developer / software engineer with automation experience who has transitioned into a QA role, or a seasoned QA Automation Engineer with developer skills. Good to have experience with testing of applications on mobile.
