FoxTranslate is looking for talented and experienced software engineers to help us build out our web application. FoxTranslate is a San Francisco based, venture backed startup founded in 2010 with the goal of disrupting the translation market by creating an efficient, web-based platform to manage freelance translation. Ours is a close-knit, fun, and passionate team with big plans, exciting ideas and a commitment to execution. Engineering is a crucial part of our DNA, and you will have a large role in building and shaping the company.
We work with Microsoft based stack (C#, ASP.NET MVC, and SQL Server), and while an existing knowledge of these technologies is preferred, we realize that a great engineer can learn these on the job. Your work will span all aspects of a modern, multi-tier web application -- from the HTML5 based front-end, through the mid-tier, and into the database back-end.

Responsibilities:
- Working with product management and UX designers to define new features and product enhancements
- Building performant, and dynamic UI front ends
- Writing scalable and efficient server side code in C# and SQL
- Architecting solutions to today’s requirements so that tomorrow’s projects are easier
- Writing comprehensive tests for your code
