We are looking for an experienced Java developer with web development skills. You will become a member of our core development team. Your focus will be on the design and development of a number of web-based front-ends.
The web-based front-ends will replicate a number of capabilities currently found in our desktop product. This includes functionalities that offer rich search engine-like interaction with a database of indexed documents, but also support for cooperation between investigators working on the same case, case management, statistical overviews and other tasks.
As our web front-end expert, you will have an important say in both the interaction design and software architecture of the solution. You will work closely with other team members on realizing this design and comple! ting the deliverable, including testing and documentation. Thi! s job will challenge both your abilities to design new products as well as getting them shipped timely and in good shape.
We are explicitly looking for a software developer with web skills: it is vital that you are experienced in the design and creation of large, complex applications. Experience with web development techniques alone will not be sufficient.
As we build off-the-shelf software sold in large quantities, a strong attention to quality and detail is required.
