Ronin Capital is seeking an Applications Developer for full time employment. This position entails creating and maintaining the overall system architecture for a specific trading system. This IT position will require successful candidates to participate in all aspects of the software development cycle. This position will be based in our Chicago, IL office.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with traders to understand business requirements and design efficient and scalable solutions based on technical expertise and experience
- Implement, test, rollout and maintain trading framework
- Work with quantitative researchers and traders to facilitate integration of trading strategies into the Ronin trading platform
- Maintain up-to-date work plans while effectively communicating status
- Keep pace with new technologies and the industry trends
- Follow firm and industry standards, procedures and methodologies for development of efficient application systems (i.e. design, design reviews, architecture reviews and code reviews)
- Perform related duties as required
