Goldstar is the 3rd largest direct ticket seller in the country and global leader in discount event tickets. Bootstrapped, profitable and proud, we're almost 10 years old and still operate like a startup. We have a great time trying to help our 2 million member base go out more often. Goldstar is looking to add to our small team of back-end ruby programmers. We have a diverse group of talented guys building out numerous apps in a low key agile-ish process. We're focused on building out a system of service oriented ruby applications that serve our business in a multitude of ways. Work on lots of different things or see a project through from inception to rollout.

Excellent candidates will possess:
* An appropriate amount of experience developing scaleable and maintainable web applications in Ruby or Python or other dynamic object oriented languages.
* Knowledge and understanding of Object Oriented Programming.
* Extensive experience writing and maintaining a Service Oriented Architecture.
* Desire to TDD all of your code.
* A pragmatic approach to acceptance testing.
* The design to work closely with others in small, iterative cycles.
* A working knowledge of eXtreme Programming and the virtues it extolls as well as it's failure cases.

Other great attributes:
* Working knowledge of how large web applications operate and the desire to see your software through to working operation.
* HTML5, CSS3, Javascript, CoffeeScript skills.
* Rap battle skills.
* Skrillex haircut.
