This is an opportunity with New Rubric Solutions to develop a tablet android app using Icecream sandwich for the area of Education.
About New Rubric: – New Rubric (www.newrubric.com) is founded by alumni from IIM Calcutta, and has employees from the IIMs and top engineering colleges (http://linkd.in/vCtyTU). New Rubric is developing a highly differentiated and innovative solution for the large, vibrant, high growth area of Education. The solutions, which are based on the mobile tablet platform, address each learner’s specific requirements to deliver better results than those achieved by simply studying harder.
About the Position: – The candidate will play a key role in the technical team including -
brainstorm, design and implement innovative features using Android 4.0,
integrate these features with the server back end and
ensure high quality delivery.
The role will require the candidate to come up with innovative ways to implement new features, while leveraging existing android experience.
Who can apply: – Only Candidates having prior experience in developing android apps :-
· Hands on experience with Android SDK (2.2 and above)
· Knowledge of Touch screen development
· Ability to work with SQL Lite and implement queries
· Ability to think, learn quickly and work with minimal supervision
· Gets a kick out of solving unique technical problems
