Imagine you're an online Advertiser wanting to run a video advertising campaign where you can specify the sites and audience that you want to target.  You have a limited budget and want to ensure that you maximize who you can reach across a span of
 time you choose. Of course, you want to see how well your campaign is doing anytime using reports that slice and dice data for your specific ad delivery. Now imagine you can do all this using a single platform.
 
This is just one of the many complex and technical challenges you will face working on Adap.tv's Marketplace Platform. Adap.tv Engineers own their features, from the front-end to the back-end and are comfortable working in either space. Our continuous deployment process means code you write now can be released in hours or days, not months.
You can help build Adap.tv's programmatic platform for buying and selling video advertising online.

Responsibilities:

* Create web applications using primarily Java.
* Work with product to design and develop new features for our marketplace platform
* Build components to expand and scale platform capabilities
* Extend platform API to support 3rd party integrations
* Potentially leading offshore development team and supervising other technical resources
* Review designs and code output from team members on the project
* Work with Operations to scale and deploy applications
* Continuous deployment of quality code to production

Requirements:

* 5+ years of Java experience in building scalable web applications
* Ability to collaborate and work with team members across functional groups
* Proficient with object oriented concepts, algorithms and design patterns
* Proficient with relational databases and SQL, preferably mySQL
*! Knowledge of web technologies: HTML, Flex, ActionScript
*! Knowledge of Hibernate and Spring
* Experience with C, C++ a plus
