Doejo is looking for a Chicago-based WordPress developer who's not afraid of a challenge and wants to build beautiful platforms. Doejo is an award-winning full service digital agency and WordPress VIP Featured Partnered Agency. Our clients vary from startups to Fortune 500 companies. This is a full-time position at our Chicago office.
Your responsibilities would include:
- Working alongside our development and design teams, building new products in an agile and iterative development environment
- Working well with other developers and communicating your ideas effectively
Required skills and experi! ence:
- WordPress and php (3-5+ years)
- Strong problem solving and debugging skills
- Ability to quickly adopt new technologies
- Good communication skills
Bonus points:
- Experience in maintaining high-load WordPress sites
- Git/SVN
- HTML5/CSS3/LESS/SASS and other modern front-end technologies and techniques
- Participation in open source projects
- Passion for good design and usability on th! e web
- Your email should include a link to your Github account.
- If you do not have a Github account please submit code samples that show a thoughtful solution to a unique problem, preferably WordPress-related.
- Links to wp.org plugins (if any)
