Stack Exchange is growing fast, both as a company and as a network of sites. We have a strong team of smart developers who get stuff done, and we’re looking to add an experienced data scientist. You’ll work with our existing devs to develop a completely new architecture for processing, storing, and querying the large amounts of data we’re accumulating on our sites. You’ll help us tackle the problems we know we have and identify the things we’re missing.
Some of the problems you’ll help us solve:
- Instant, personalized search results on our Q&A sites
- Predict which questions users will be best able to answer
- Identify duplicate questions as they are typed
- Suggest tags for questions based on the content
- Match developers and companies on Stack Overflow Careers
