Job opening - Senior Software Engineer-iOS at R/GA (New York, NY; Austin, TX)

R/GA is building the next generation of multi-platform mobile apps using sensor data and social platforms in the sports and fitness space.  We are looking for skilled iPhone and Android engineers with a passion for building simple user interfaces on top of complex systems.  The ideal candidate contributes not only to the code but also to the entire product vision. R/GA is building the next generation of multi-platform iOS apps using sensor data and social platforms in the sports and fitness space.  We are looking for skilled iOS engineers with a passion for building simple user interfaces on top of complex systems.  The ideal candidate contributes not only to the code but also to the entire product vision.

Qualifications:
* Know and love good design patterns
* 3+ years Mac development experience using: Objective C/Cocoa.
* 1+ years of experience with the UIKit framework
* Expereince managing projects in an S! VN environment
* Ability to develop against a variety of web architectures and services (HTTP, SOAP, REST, etc.)
* Knowledge of a scripting language a plus (Ruby, Perl, Python, BASH, etc)
* Comfortable programming:   C++, Java, (Android SDK a plus)
* Experience integrating with web services and social platforms (XML, JSON, REST, OAuth, Facebook, Twitter, Foursquare, etc)
* Very comfortable from the command line

Bonus:
* A personal interest in sports and fitness
* Experience building web sites and web services.
