We are the leading ride photography partner and operate globally at attractions such as Legoland,  The Atlantis Palm, Dubai and the majority of the Merlin sites such as The London Eye and Chessington World of Adventures.  We have 500-photo installations throughout the world and have been the market leader since 1994.  We offering ride photography, on-ride video, walkabout as well as studio based photography.


We are now moving to the next generation of digital and media innovation and putting our platform in the cloud in order to support our ambitious product aims.  As part of this gr! owth we and are looking to recruit talented Application Developers  and a Test Lead to deliver our new platform and meet our goals.

Main Purpose of Job


To design, develop and test high quality software, in line with Architectural strategy for use both in house and in the field with an emphasis on developing robust, highly optimized and scalable solutions which meet internal and external client requirements, providing support to team members in the delivery of tasks, projects and products.


Duties and Responsibilities



  • To define      tasks/projects including business and systems requirements

  • T! o support/develop      test strategies for! systems and components

  • To be      responsible for designing, writing, adaptation, testing, integration and      support of complex software modules/components in line with task      requirements and strategic needs.

  • To effectively      contribute to cross functional teams when delivering tasks to larger scale      projects

  • To      test and validate products and systems as required

  • To      prepare and maintain system documentation

  • To provide      training or technical presentations to other staff as required

  • To      review documentation from other software engineers within the Research and      Development team.

  • To      support knowledge transfer through constru! ctive challenge and teamwork

  • To      ensure consideration to non-functional requirements such as security,      support, maintenance performance etc. when designing and developing solutions

  • To ensure      that all software is rigorously tested prior to release into the      field/project identifying areas of risk during all stages of the process.

  • To      ensure scalability, performance, uptime and stability for the systems

  • To identify      solutions to reported bugs/issues within existing software, either individually,      or as part of a team.

  • To      carry out complex problem solving activities by gathering information from      one or more sources, logically interpreting this information and      identify! ing links/patterns; with the goal of developing pragmatic solutions &nb! sp;    or identifying the need for further information.

  • To      create, plan and design projects/products providing accurate estimates to      undertake agreed scopes of work, liaising with other team members when      creating project plans and timescales as appropriate.

  • To      ensure an accurate log of the tasks being worked on and the time spent on      the tasks is maintained to a high standard.

  • To undertake      site visits, as required, in order to create best fit solutions for end      users and customers
