Job opening - Clojure Application Engineer at Likely (London, United Kingdom)

Likely have developed a suite of tools which simplify the process of analysing "Big Data" around digital audiences, identifying passions and the correlations between them, determining the content they will find exciting, and building vibrant communities at scale. We look at billions of data points from social media, e.g. Twitter and Facebook, to understand how to match messaging to consumer perfectly.

We've done this successfully for our own communities – we have over 300k subscribers to our social feeds – but we also sell this expertise to clients who trust us to plan camapaigns and analyse, aquire and engage authentic audiences on their behalf.

We've spent the last few months building out our Hadoop and HBase cluster to replace the large relational databases that were beginning to creak underneath us. This has forced us to engage with the JVM for the first time (our technical heritage is in the Ruby ecosystem), and we're embracin! g Clojure.
