The Sr. Network Engineer will design, implement, and maintain SHRM network infrastructure (LAN/WAN/WLAN). Recommend and maintain security policies and procedures. Ensure computer systems security, integrity, efficiency, and availability.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following, and other duties may be assigned:
- Provides first class customer and end user relations on all matters related to IT services.
- Maintains and manages communications hardware (primarily Cisco) and associated equipment necessary for both local and remote user access to systems.
- Plan, design, test, and implement SHRM’s LAN, WAN, WLAN (Wireless LAN), remote access (VPN), disaster recovery network, and server infrastructure ensuring their security and stability in close cooperation with the Manager! of Network and Systems Operations.
- Recommend installation, modification or replacement of any hardware or software component or configuration changes that may affect network stability or security.
