Publishing Concepts has an immediate opening for a Web Architect to oversee the development of new web products using C#, MVC3, and SQL Server.
Responsibilities include:
Oversee all development processes and team members’ adherence of coding practices
Determination and enforcement of coding standards
Coordination of code reviews with development team (senior, mid and junior levels)
Coaching and leadership to other team members in an advisory role
Accountability for systems design and development of websites
Collaboration with designers, producers, and other team members to produce the best solutions
Management of the existing VB ASP.NET client websites (including new feature architecture and implementation, plus performing updates to legacy code base)
Oversee thorough testing of all development projects
Special consideration for this position will be given to those individuals with develope! r team leadership/strong project management experience, especially in working with offsite development teams; experience with data analytics (SSAS, MDX, R, PowerPivot, etc.) and strong working knowledge in developing applications for Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and other social networking platforms.
