Job opening - Senior Test/QA Engineer at QuorumLabs (San Jose, CA)

A senior Test/QA engineer responsible for Testing/Quality Assurance of Quorum's business continuity solutions for the data center and the cloud.

The successful candidate will have the ability to design & document test plans and test cases, automate, execute and publish results for existing and new feature set. The candidate
will work closely with engineering sub-system owners to correct problems and enhance overall product quality.

The successful candidate should have experience with software QA methodology, tools, and must have excellent debugging skills in both Windows and Linux environments. Kernel profiling, code profiling and timing analysis experience are desirable.
Experience with one or more of file systems, servers, networks, and storage is required.

Must have strong communication skills, experience presenting results, leadership skills, a good team player, and a proven ability to produce award-winning products in a fast pa! ced environment.

Responsibilities:



  • Define and implement comprehensive strategies for Quorum's business continuity solutions including code, component and system level tests.

  • Define and create test documents against stated project and/or release goals.

  • Define, create & execute manual and automated tests as needed for the entire product line.

  • Investigate, create and implement tools to enable efficient test creation and execution in a continuous integration environment.

  • Participate in and contribute to design discussions and reviews with an emphasis on highlighting ! the impact of designs on system function and performance.
