Summary

Spot trading has made a substantial investment in our core network architecture. A Spot Network Engineer will be a leader in transforming the network into an intelligent infrastructure by reducing latency, improving scalability and evaluating new advanced technological options; Spot Trading has been able and will continue to add value to our production, administration and development environments by leveraging this advantage.

The right candidate is passionate and a self directed subject matter expert. An entrepreneurial attitude is a requirement and the ability to work seamlessly in a team is a must. In addition to being able to successfully design, deploy and manage our dynamic network infrastructure, the network engineer will seek new opportunities that Spot Trading can leverage to develop, test and deploy new software logic much faster and more cost effectively.

Responsibilities

Participate in planning, designing and implementing a high quality      production environment.

Design networks      based on tested and best practice architecture.

Implement networks      based on tested designs scheduled within a project plan.

Documentation of      network topologies.

Participate in      design reviews.

Can work on      cross-functional teams.

Explore new      networking technologies with strategic business partners.

Resolve complex      problems, diagnostics and debugging.

Evaluation of new technologies which will add value and growth to the company.
