A senior or principal level engineer responsible for performance measurement and tuning of Quorum business continuity solutions for the data center and the cloud.
The successful candidate will have the ability to isolate performance bottlenecks and regressions, will work closely with engineering sub-system owners to correct problems and enhance overall product performance.
The successful candidate should have experience with industry standard performance methodology, tools, and benchmarks and must be familiar with performance tuning, kernel profiling, code profiling and timing analysis, and benchmarking. Experience with servers, networks, and storage is required.
Must have strong communication skills, experience presenting performance data, leadership skills, a good team player, and a proven ability to produce award-winning products in a fast paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Define and implement a comprehensive performance test strategy for Quorum business continuity product including code, component and system level tests.
- Define measures and report performance against stated performance goals.
- Investigate, create and implement tools to enable performance measurements in a continuous integration environment.
- Participate in and contribute to design discussions and reviews with an emphasis on highlighting the impact of designs on system performance.
