PRIMA! RY OBJECTIVE:
The Front End Developer is responsible for the HTML, CSS, and JS coding of web sites, integrating design and content, editing text and graphical materials provided by clients for design prototypes.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Integrate websites and other products into FindLaw's custom CMS in a production environment.
- Write and utilize HTML and CSS to add/modify features to better fit into a site's structure as necessary.
- Update, modify and correct graphical design elements on websites.
- Test and troubleshoot within standards to optimize the layout of materials, site performance, and compatibility with various browsers.
- Create and maintain technical documentation of work and correspondence in tracking systems
- Analyzes and recommends solutions to root quality and/or efficiency problems
- May provide technical expertise across the or! ganization.
- Work cross-functionally with designe! rs, content writers, project managers and other contributors to ensure site is released on-time with a high level of customer satisfaction. Follow-up to resolve any issues with site/product.
- Makes suggestions for problem solutions or software enhancements, which will typically be reviewed by a more senior developer.
- Follows and/or creates website development best practices while adhering to team and industry coding standards and corporate policies.
