Synergema is looking for a self-motiviated, seasoned PHP developer to work with our team on some exciting upcoming projects. We build custom, compelling internet solutions for some really super clients.
This position will begin as a contract position to work on projects current and upcoming.
You will be working with our team of front-end and back-end developers. We are all easy-going and work well as a team. The perfect person will fit right in with the team, but will also be able to work alone when needed to and still hit deadlines.
Responsibilities May Include:
- Develop and deploy custom sites built upon an in-house PHP framework and CMS
- Contribute to existing framework and CMS codebase by developing new functionality as needed
- Suppo! rt current sites by adding new functionality and/or debugging existing code
- Write and maintain well-documented, flexible and resuable code
Required Skill Set:
- Thorough knowledge of object-oriented programming in PHP
- Experience with PHP MVC frameworks will prove helpful
- Must be able to work with GIT version control system
- Ability to translate project requirements to flexible, maintainable codebase
- Ability to interact with front-end developers to implement back-end requirements and functionality
- Some knowledge of HTML/CSS/JS preferred
- Ability to be adaptible and learn quickly
- Attention to detail
- Take pride in writing clean code
- Great communication skills, both written and verbal
