Bandzoogle builds tools that help bands succeed online.  Our main product is a website platform that powers tens of thousands of artist sites, and also helps them make a living by selling music and growing their fan base.  We've been “bootstrapped, profitable, and proud” since 2003 and are growing fast.

We've re-written Bandzoogle in Rails 3 using all of today's best practices, and we're ready for you to jump in and create.

 

Responsibilities

We’re looking for an experienced front end developer to:

• Build fun, pixel perfect front end interfaces from our mockups.
• Participate in the design and implementation of new features.
• Help create the next generation of our templating system.

Re! quirements

• Expert level knowledge of HTML and CSS, including HTML5, adaptive CSS, and SASS.
• Comfortable implementing designs directly within a Rails environment.
• Able to work with jQuery to implement dynamic UIs.
• Ability to be productive in a distributed team environment.  Our 12 member team is spread across Canada, UK and USA; we work where we love to be.  

Plusses

• Familiarity with version control (we use git).
• Knowledge of how to design for mobile devices.
• Experience working with other templating engines.
