Job opening - Software Engineer, BidSystems at Adknowledge (Kansas City, MO)

POSITION OVERVIEW
The position will be responsible for providing value to Adknowledge through the development and maintenance of central tools that are stable, scalable, and high quality. Specific focus on the following:

1. Business Logic and Services Tier: Design, build, and document an improved business logic API that can be exposed to other business units within Adknowledge to increase accessibility to critical business data.


2. Increase Application Scalability: Will be involved in analysis and enhancements to increase scalability in core components of the ad serving and event processing workflows.


3. Channel Support: You will serve as an evangelist and integration engineer; educating and helping Adknowledge developers interface with the API platform.


4. Documentation: You will maintain an up-to-date wiki of API instructions, sample code, and integration techniques for both channel and publisher! APIs.

Additional duties include:

• Optimize system code and reports for increased performance;


• Assist in implementation of front-end platform features.


• Participating in 24-hour and weekend on-call rotations.
