Big Picture Group is an award winning entertainment creative shop (www.bpgadvertising.com) looking for a senior level web developer to join our interactive team, working on creative projects ranging from websites to apps & games for desktop, tablet, and mobile. Candidates should be proactive problem solvers, organized, positive, calm in a fast-paced environment, and able to communicate and collaborate within a team.  This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to be part of a team creating cutting edge entertainment properties for some of the biggest networks and studios in town.  bpg prides itself on being a great place to work while we produce great work with the most talented group of artistic employees around. 

 

Qualifications:

• Ideal candidates will be supremely skilled in HTML5 with mobile platform experience and/or extensive javascript experience
• Should also have advanced experience in all or most of the following: CSS, jQuery, PHP, MySQL.
• Thorough understanding of architecture and optimization of web-based applications. Experience developing websites and web apps for iOS and Android
• Familiarity with version control (Git, Subversion).
• Sharp attention to detail and writing clean, readable, reusable code.
• Current on emerging technologies and best practices, desire to learn new technologies as they present themselves in the marketplace.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with other developers, designers, creative director and producers.
• Excellent verbal communication skills are a must!
