The successful candidate will embrace our design precepts and will be a collaborative team player able to communicate her/his ideas with colleagues and management.
We are looking for the person who can work in a fast-paced environment and has a strong grasp of cutting edge languages and technologies. The candidate must be able to work closely with the production and product management teams and meet fixed deadlines. Projects may include building APIs, architecting engineering solutions, building API/Flash interfaces, Database monitoring and design and building interfaces for external partners.
Required L! anguages and experience levels:
- Proven track record of leading development teams
- Agile experience
- Java, Linux, Some flash experience, Shell scripting
- Working knowledge of Tomcat, Spring and Hibernate
- Strong knowledge of MRSS, XML and JSON
- 7+ Years product software development
- Knowledge of PHP a plus
- Experience working with source control systems
- Knowledge of open source software
- Understanding of Object Oriented Programming and Design
- Experience with databases
- Experience with Video CMS such as Kaltura, thePlatform or Ooyala
- Experience with NoSQL
- Experience with Redis preferred
- Web development best practices
- Must successfully pass a background check.
