The Home team is looking for an analytical, driven Senior InStock Manager (Inventory Planner) to join one of Amazon's fastest growing businesses. This individual will work closely with the business team to drive tremendous growth and deliver a world-class customer experience.
The Senior InStock Manager is responsible for driving system and process improvements in working with hundreds of vendors on order management, vendor operations, and inventory management. This highly quantitative/analytical person will be responsible for financial analysis and decision making related to promotions, inventory purchasing, managing overstock inventory, operations processes, and improving efficiency. This person will work with engineering teams across Amazon to optimize systems, such as those that generate forecasts and orders. The Senior InStock Manager is expected to be a leader beyond their respective categories to help define and drive projects to improve buyi! ng systems and processes necessary to position our retail store for long term growth. This is a key leadership position on the Home and Pets team.
The successful candidate will have hands-on, senior level operations or inventory management experience, strong analytical and problem solving skills, and excellent business judgment. Candidates should have a demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast paced environment, where tactical and strategic activities are driven in parallel, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously.
