Software Development Engineer

PTC (www.ptc.com) is looking for an experienced programmer to join a group of dedicated Software Engineers based in Ann Arbor, Michigan to help develop the next generation of service lifecycle management (SLM) products. PTC is one of the world’s largest and fastest-growing software companies. We deliver a complete portfolio of Product Lifecycle Management solutions to customers world-wide.

You would join a development team which has a 25 year history of innovation in standards based content creation, publishing and delivery. We use the latest hardware and software development tools and technologies in a flexible work environment.

We are currently recruiting for multiple Software Development positions within our PDV group and will consider candidates from the Entry Level up to Senior/Principal level Developers.

Candidates should have the ! following qualifications:

• 2 or more years of experience in large scale software development


• Advanced Java or other Object Oriented programming language experience including User Interface (UI) design


• A proven ability to pick up new technologies while getting things done


• Excellent coding and object oriented design skills

Ideal candidates will have the following:

• Experience with databases such as Oracle or MS SQLServer.


• Experience with GWT and XML schemas.


• Experience with Eclipse and its plugin infrastructure.


• Working knowledge of the OSGi framework.


• Familiarity with JPA (Java Persistence Architecture) and JAXB.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree
