Job opening - Front End Engineers at Visual Revenue (New York, NY; Philadelphia, PA)

At Visual Revenue, we collect tons of data for our ever-hungry predictive analytics engine. This requires complex engineering problems to be solved, taking into account conflicting constraints of scale, efficiency, real-time and cost. Also, we believe in wow-ing our users with an incredibly useful, functional, and beautiful user experience – be it customers who use their browsers/ipads, or developers who use our API’s.

We build more, with less. That means less code, less people, less time. That also means more libraries, more tools, and more automation. We use great libraries/tools spanning the entire development spectrum like nginx, varnish, git, gevent, mongodb, jquery, webpy, and fabric, to name just a few.  If it comes down to it, we craft our own stuff with python, javascript, and any other language that suits the task. We even pay for some of the stuff we use – like Amazon’s EC2.

We are looking for frontend engineers who are smart, and get things done. They need to be tenacious and wear multiple hats; these hats are colored browser, [insert-your-engineering-area-of-choice], api, libraries, tools, automation, research, and heavily overlapping. These are are full_time++ positions with entrepreneurial benefits (60 hour weeks, free Diet Cokes, health insurance, an office gym, unmatched learnings, basketball court, ergonomic work environment, dual screen setup – and EQUITY). We are experienced entrepreneurs and have exited positively 3 times (and yes, we also failed once).

If all of this just clicks with you, we should meet over a can of Red Bull or other poison of choice, as soon as possible! Shoot us an email with your resume/or LinkedIn profile and, if you have it, a link to your GitHub account to jobs@visualrevenue.com.
