Job opening - Chief Architect at Mercury and Associates Structure II LLC (Start-up backed by Private Equity Firm) (Glendale, CA)

Research and understand methods utilized in web based implementations of large scale cloud solutions and apply this thinking to planning implementation of the Company’s technology.

To present to management various approaches so an approach can be approved for design.

To design the architecture of the Company’s application of its technology and Intellectual Property.

To work in concert with the Company’s IP Counsel to insure harmony between the Intellectual Property of the Company and the Company’s software product.

Author specifications and architecture documents.  It is anticipated that this will be performed directly by the Chief Architect.

To work in concert with Company management in developing strategic partners.

Work closely with a Project Manager, who is responsible for implementation, to provide technological leadership, and review software development and content ! to insure adherence to the approved architecture and specifications. 

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND STANDARDS:

Daily:

Plan architecture for the system

Contribute via idea creation to the IP portfolio

Interface with internal contacts

Interface with Project Manager for implementation

Weekly:

Company Staff for status discussions, IP discussions and planning.

Monthly:

Periodic interface with outside strategic partners

Position reports directly to the Company's CEO
