Senior Front End Engineer

You will be a key member of Numenta's engineering team and be responsible for designing and implementing dynamic web based user interfaces. You should be familiar with modern web user interface methodology, including HTML5 technologies like Canvas, localStorage, and SVG. The position is full time, and offers competitive salary, full benefits and participation in our stock option program. It is based in downtown Redwood City, CA.

Key responsibilities:

• Design, rapidly prototype, and implement complex web front ends for our data analytics and visualization product, Grok.


• Build efficient, reusable, and testable front-end abstractions and systems using the latest frameworks and client-side patterns like Backbone.js, dynamic resource loading, and HTML5 technologies.


• Work closely with core technology and product teams.


• Identify and address performance bottlenecks.
  
• Provide technical leadership to the rest of the organization.
