GEICO seeks a highly motivated, detail-oriented, and process driven individual to join the GEICO Mobile Infrastructure team. In this position, you will be responsible for source code management, mobile build processes, development environments, production support, and code deployment for our customer-facing mobile applications - Android, iOS (iPhone/iPad), J2EE, and mobile web.
Responsibilities:
- Research, analyze and implement new technologies, frameworks, and best practices to
support the needs of the Mobile Team
- Execute configuration management and build tasks
- Analyze and triage environment, build, and production issues
- Manage environment documentation and change requests
- Build and maintain relationships with application, infrastructure, architecture and operations
teams within GEICO
- Define, improve, and implement processes and procedures that! help improve the efficiency or
quality of application development ¿ automation is our friend!
- Be a subject matter expert of tools and frameworks that support Java, Android, and iOS
development
- Work with iTunes store, Google Play, Push Notifications, Tablet Apps and Marketing initiativ
