Fullscreen.net is looking for a Ruby On Rails developer with financial app experience to join our team and grow with an exciting, fast-moving early-stage startup.
You'll be working on shaping the digital production studio of the future by building out financial features that make up our dashboard product for video content creators and networks. You'll form and test hypotheses by rapidly prototyping and launching new products, you'll finely-tune features in an iterative work environment and you'll constantly build, test, ship and learn. Our engineering and product team is made up of startup vets and hackers who love pushing our own boundaries and learning new things every day (and night, buildingsideprojects and winninghackathonsallovertown). You'll also work with pioneering thought leaders including our founder George Strompolos, former Google exec and co-creator of the YouTube Partner Program.
You're someone who:
- Is smart and gets things done.
- Has! a deep understanding of HTML, CSS and Javascript.
- Has experience programming in Ruby or Python.
- Has experience with MongoDB or similar document-oriented data stores.
- Has successfully built web applications that handle user purchases.
- Is detail oriented and confident in their programming decisions.
- Has a Github account and/or legit examples of past projects that demonstrate the above.
Bonus points if you can hack away on Javascript, designed a product fit for gods, are an economics wiz, and if you've worked with other parts of our stack like MongoDB, Redis and Heroku.
