Your advanced knowledge web application implementation, technologies and concepts, strong object oriented programming and design skills, and experience developing intuitive user interfaces are what will get you through this quest and allow you to shine as the software superhero you really are. The navigational lives of 60 million of people depend on you and your ability to deliver high-value, high-quality solutions with consumer facing web applications.
Think you have what it takes for this quest?
· Yes, I have a Bachelor or Masterâs degree in engineering or computer science or equivalent experience and at least 5+ years of experience in software development.
· Yes, I also have advanced knowledge of Ruby on Rails, HTML, object-oriented Javascript, CSS, XML, JSON, AJAX, web services and Java.
· Yes, I have experience with Test Driven Development (TDD) and automated testing tools â" such as JUnit and Selenium; HTML5 and Mobile Web development.
· Yes, I have worked with version control systems (Git, Subversion)and my experience even extends to converting graphical mocks into functional mark-up.
As part of your quest, you may be called upon for additional obligations. Itâs important you have experience with WebGL or OpenGL, an understanding of online Ad display and Sponsored Links usage, integration, tracking and reporting, collaboration with UX roles â" Interaction Design, Graphics Design, familiarity with relational databases including MySQL and PostGreSQL and query writing in SQL, and knowledge of Apache and Tomcat servers.
