Job opening - Just love why you do what you do...oh, and if you know Objective-C that helps too at Yello (Los Angeles, CA)

We are nearing the launch of a product that while big in scope, is simple and user friendly, with a wonderful design, that will add a great deal to someone's life should they care to engage in our service.

That being said... the most important part of working at Yello is "why" we are doing, what we are doing. It has nothing to do with building a company hoping to sell or bringing in a certain amount of money every quarter to keep investors happy. Our goal to connect with our world more eciently... that alone drives all of our passion.

Yello was founded to connect people, it's all we want to do. If we stick to that, we believe everything else will fall into place, however that may be.

So the first part of the "description" of this role, is to care deeply and be extraordinarily passionate about what you do. If you're an iPhone developer with strong knowledge of Objective-C, and you want to work with an experienced and high! ly motivated team who work together and who are always learning from one another... than the description of your job will be very simple, and will end up being written by you.

Also, a large part of your job will be being open to learning. Our CTO is a remarkable person and vastly experienced programmer, and we want as many of our engineers to learn just some of what he knows. Collaboration is essential for us, so being excited by working as a team, and being open to learning is vital.

There are no set working hours, and vacation days are up to you. The work gets done (whenever and wherever necessary) because we're all in this together and we all help one another.

In short, the description of this job is primarily to care deeply about your work, and why you're doing it... and if you have experience and sharp skills in developing in Objective-C, it will be a worthwhile conversation to see if we'd be a great fit for one another.

Compensation: Highly competitive along with ! shares of stock. We believe that everyone should own their work.
