Development of a data processing system to build and maintain a major historical financial database used by leading quantitative money managers. Existing code base is C++. The database is built using a proprietary engine specialized for finance and developed and maintained in house.
The position is the primary developer working with up to 2 data specialists and 1 other developer. The initial project is to improve the design of our existing system while working with the data vendor to prepare for major updates to the product. We have other exciting projects in our pipeline as well.
