Job opening - Senior Ruby Developer at Post+Beam (San Francisco, CA)

You’re the kind of person the gets excited about how much impact you can make through well-written code. You will be building web applications and designing websites for clients across multiple industries that integrate with various platforms and third party APIs. This requires rock solid RoR development skills and the ability to work fluidly with a design team. You won’t be spending your days putting out fires and closing off support tickets.


You will be working for an agency with years of proven client work, backed by years of agency experience in PR, marketing, design, and development. This is a fast-paced position that focuses on mobile and web development in multiple industries. As such, your will role will have a heavy stake in product development.


You will be expected to participate in all phases of our software development life cycle to convert concepts and specifications into released web applications and ! websites. You will anchor your dev pair at our SF office and work collaboratively with your colleagues to meet deadlines and build products.

You can expect to:



  • Help design and architect new features for great new applications

  • Argue with us about the right way to do things from the start

  • Work closely with the entire team to develop features (we won’t throw you in a corner)

  • Test, release and maintain the code you write

  • Get sent to RailsConf and RubyConf and the conferences of your choice to research new technologies and learn from the best
