About You
To help make our driver and consumer launches as painless as possible, we are seeking a very special kind of individual. We need someone that can test our apps in every conceivable way, someone that wants to find the flaws but also wants to come up with the solutions. As the apps mature and gain in popularity, the role will shift more towards understanding and analyzing how drivers and consumers are using the apps and identify! ing key strengths and weaknesses in the code. As with any start-up, what we prize most is hard work and flexibility - within reason the job will become what you make of it.
We’re looking for a Mobile QA Analyst to join our team on a full-time basis. You’ll be focusing on QA – helping test and improve our iPhone, Android, and web applications, but are expected to contribute to the overall product development and help code as well.
Key Requirements
• University degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Experience with testing / QA concepts and processes prized
• A sharp eye for detail
• The ability to ferret out problems
• A desire to find out how it all works
• A love of gadgets
• A good analytical mind
• Passion and enthusiasm to change the world.
Desirable
• An understanding of software develo! pment (Objective C or Java)
• Working knowledge of sta! tistics and data analysis
• Previous experience with testing/designing mobile applications
• Prefer previous experience with testing mobile applications and UI tools (such as: FoneMonkey, UIAutomation, Robotium)
• Some knowledge of scripting (Javascript or similar)
