Starting Salary: Commensurate with qualifications in the upper 50's to mid 70's
The College of Arts & Humanities at University of Maryland is seeking a system administrator to assist with the College's web and application projects. The position will work closely with the College's software development team and the University's Office of Information Technology to provide infrastructure design, implementation, and day-to-day support of web and application environments. The position will also work closely with internal users to support any system-related needs.

Primary Job Responsibilities
- Administer College's web servers on UNIX/Linux
- Configure and manage open source and commercial software systems
- Provide software development environment support to staff and faculty
- Perform all system-related tasks
This position requires after-hours availability in response to scheduled maintenance and occasional emergency support.
