Job Description

We are looking for an exceptional Java developer with big data type experience to join our product development team. This person will collaborate directly with team members in the US and in India while building a leading-edge real-time/big data processing system.  We are looking for individuals who want a more challenging and rewarding job experience than working at a typical, large MNC. The position requires exceptional English communication, and extremely strong development skills.

Position Requirements:

In order to be considered for this position you must:

• Be a passionate developer with extremely strong problem-solving skills and experience with Java application servers such as Jetty and Tomcat.

• Understand quality system architecture using MVC, DAO, and RESTful design patterns.

• Have had past experience working with Struts, Struts II, or JSF.

• Be an expert with iBatis, MySQL, and MemcacheD.

• Have experience working with Cassandra or other NoSQL type database.

• Have experience working with Hadoop or other Map-Reduce type frameworks.

• Be an expert with HTML, CSS and JavaScript.

• Possess a high level of intelligence, creativity, and energy.

• Enjoy hard work and pay relentless attention to detail.

• Have great communication skills.

• Be comfortable and effective working in a dynamic, informal entrepreneurial setting.

• Have a technical degree from a highly ranked university.

  

Though not required, favorable consideration will be given to candidates that:

• Have experience with Node.js.

• Have experience with Backbone.js and Mustache.js

• Have built highly scalable real-time systems.

• Are experts in COMET and WebSockets.
