Exodus Enterprises is a software development company that specializes in web development for churches and other businesses. We are looking for a well rounded intermediete level web programmer to join our team. This is a full-time telecommuting job but you must be located in the Southern California area to be considered. You will be in charge of multiple projects in different web technologies such as PHP and C# .NET. We are a small and growing company so you will wear many hats, ranging from UI designing, customer interfacing, project budgeting/estimating, coding, testing, QA, along with code, server, and project managing.
If you answer the following questions with a YES, we would love to talk with you:
- I am good at solving problems and will not give up easily; but I know when to seek help. I know how to research and learn things if I dont already know them.
- I code cleanly and write meaningful co! mments.
- I communicate well. In other words: I am organized and am happy working with project management tools, interfacing with customers and other programmers/managers. I let people know how things are going and if problems arise.
- When I code and work on projects I dont think having "15 pieces of flair" is good enough. I am a proactive person that knows how to see things ahead and ask the right questions and take care of extra things that are not necessarily "required" to be done.
- I think source control is a userful tool and will use it for the development and deployment of projects
- I think unit testing is a vital part of projects to insure a quality, consistant product.
In addition to the web programming work, we also have side work in the desktop programming and also the mobile programming spaces which you will be a part of. We are looking for someone that will become a vital! part of this company and look forward to speaking with you.
