DesLonde Software Development (DSD) is a small software company based in Walnut Creek, CA. Our project work is increasing rapidly and it has come to the point where we need another developer in order to keep up. This is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to have a huge impact on a rapidly growing company.

Versatility is important. You will be involved in all aspects of software development and management, and some days may find yourself working on 2 or even 3 different projects for three different clients. Our number one priority is servicing our clients above and beyond.

This job will begin as 1099, and will transition to W-4 when DSD and the candidate are comfortable that the relationship is a good fit.

Summary 

DSD is growing and is currently accepting applications for an experienced .NET Application Developer. The g! ist of this is we need a solid .NET, OOD experienced, DDD experienced, and TDD experienced developer.

Critical Tasks and Responsibilities

• Develop and lead in the development of .NET solutions for a variety of applications.


• Develop and perform unit testing for .NET solutions.


• Provide technical expertise to functional and detailed designs.


• Work closely with clients to define requirements.


• Engage business users, analysts, technical staff, and project team members to design, develop, implement, and enhance applications.


• Recommend application design best practices applicable to real-world solutions.


• Work with database team to develop well-integrated solutions.


• Recommend and evaluate new tools and methodologies.


• Provide full life cycle architectural guidance and ensure quality of deliverables.


• Participate! in the development and maintenance of company development and! solution standards and conventions, documentation, naming standards, etc.


• Troubleshoot functional and performance issues with existing .NET applications.


• Work as part of project teams consisting of project managers, developers and QA to meet project needs.


• Create supplemental technical documentation.
