Department: Information Systems
Overview: The Support Specialist is the primary point of contact for all employee requests. Applicant will provide excellent customer service with outstanding communication while maintaining a strong work ethic. Applicant will be responsible for providing hardware/software installation, configuration, and support while maintaining all systems that data is tracked such as asset management, license tracking, physical hardware inventory, as well as active directory. Applicant will maintain complete and accurate documentation of all work orders, spare part inventories, and other reports as necessary.
Travel Expectations:
- There are minimal travel requirements for this position. At times it may be required to visit a remote office as required per the IS Manager of Support.
Position Responsibil! ities:
- Laptops, Desktops, and Workstations - tracking, installation, repair and troubleshooting
- Field internal employee requests (hardware and software troubleshooting and installation)
- Maintain and keep integrity of Asset and License Tracker, Active Directory and Work Orders
- Vendor warranty repair of desktops, workstations and laptops
- Documentation - knowledgebasesharing
- Scanner, Projector, and Printer - tracking, installation, repair and troubleshooting
- Act as an internal resource for the Information System Department by increasing the knowledge of the department based on your area(s) of expertise
- Perform job requirements on a daily basis with a high level of autonomy
