FindTheBest (FTB) is looking to hire a top-notch dev/ops candidate that can code magnificent features and manage our entire infrastructure. FTB runs on top of AWS and to date, we have a custom in-house solution managed wholly by our engineering team.
FTB is experiencing rapid growth, and looking for someone to take complete ownership of this infrastructure (and grow it from a few machines to hundreds and then thousands!). Over the past year, we have grown from 1M monthly visits to 10M - a fantastic 10x growth.
If you spend hours reading books about better caching methods, love seeing performance comparisons between php on Apache and HipHop, and have nightmares about unoptimized MySQL queries, then you are the right person for this job.
