The Technical Lead provides technical expertise in pursuing and evaluating customer projects for the IT Services and Enterprise groups at Mutual Mobile.  The Technical Lead will use his or her expertise to understand the technical landscape, issues and considerations of enterprise-class customers as they affect significant mobile projects.  This person will work with team members representing sales, project management, engineering and creative design to identify needs, build proposals, perform project discovery and follow up through delivery of! these customer projects.

Senior and Principal positions are available.

Required Knowledge and Experience

  • 10+ years of hands-on technical experience in complex enterprise IT technologies, infrastructure and practices.
  • Experience in selling technical solutions to enterprise IT organizations
  • Technical experience with iOS, Android, or mobile web technologies, products and services.
  • Knowledge of emerging trends and technologies in mobile applications, including MEAP, security, content management and others.
  • Experience with at least one large enterprise software stack such as J2EE, WCF, etc.
  • Experience in software development involving multiple teams under different management.
  • Understanding of the role of vi! sual and interaction design in creating excellent user experie! nces.

Desired Knowledge and Experience

  • Knowledge of technical considerations related to mobile creative design.
  • Experience with Agile project management and product development.

Responsibilities

  • Represent Mutual Mobile's engineering capabilities in evaluating enterprise customer mobile needs and proposing solutions, with particular emphasis on the customerĂ¢€™s IT technology and infrastructure.
  • Work in concert with engineering on project discovery, which fleshes out customer project details.
  • Responsible for reviewing and approving the overall technical solution, sizings and price estimates within proposals or SOWs developed during project discovery assignments.
    Work with engineering to increase its mobile, server and other capabilities to meet enterprise customer needs.
  • Provide advice to functional directors on resourcing needs, impacts and management needs.
  • Identify program and project requirements of development, integration, QA, staging and production environments with Technical Architects and functional directors.
  • Participate in initial architecture reviews, risk analysis, and problem solving with account and team leads.
  • Provide oversight across a portfolio of IT Services and Enterprise accounts.
  • Be a technical advocate in client facing meetings with executives, managers, and technical leaders during pre-sales, discovery, and delivery.
  • Participate in relationships with partners and vendors engaged in relevant projects and accounts, and be conversant in their services and products.
  • Participate in, or lead, tec! hnical presentations and/or end-customer sales support conversations at! client-specific or target industry conferences and events.
  • Assist the strategy teams in defining industry- and technology-specific areas of focused research and targeted topics for white papers, business cases, etc.
