ChaCha is seeking passionate, self-motivated Java Developers to implement the awesome features of our new platform using cutting edge technologies. If you live and breathe cutting edge open source projects such as Cassandra, RabbitMQ, Hadoop and Solr/Lucene, we want to talk to you.
The Java Developers must have experience in:
- Java and core open source frameworks such as Spring.
- Application messaging frameworks such as JMS or AMQP.
- Experience with software engineering best practices (e.g. unit testing, code reviews, design documentation)
- Prior experience working for a consumer Internet company
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience required.
It would be awesome if there was experience in:
- NoSQL data stores such as Cassandra or HBase.
- Big Data using Hadoop or Storm.
- Full-Text inde! xing frameworks such as Lucene or IndexTank
- Distributed and highly concurrent applications.
