The Skype for Windows product is Skype's flagship product, with millions of users around the world. We are expanding our team and looking for talented developers who have a passion for developing user interfaces and being on the leading edge of technology.
You will report to the Engineering Manager for Skype Windows and be an integral part of the Windows product software engineering team, primarily conducting feature development and improving the user experience.
Key Responsibilities
- You will be a key contributor to the team who build the user experience for the Skype Windows product
- You will be responsible for unit testing the software components that you build
- Interpreting windows log files / stack dumps, for analysis of complex problems
- Analysing product feature specifications, providing task estimates
- Liaising with other teams to drive fo! rward key new features
- Actively innovating through participation in the whole product design and development process
- Finding solutions to issues, forging collaborative working relationships with other teams
