We are coming to the greater Los Angeles area, CA in August 7th through 9th, 2012 for a Recruiting trip and will be conducting face to face interviews for our fulltime SDE roles in Seattle, WA
We will be skipping the normal 2 phone screens and going straight to the on site loop (which will be conducted in LA). Thus, the interviews will be very Technical (CS fundamentals).

• BS degree in Computer Science, Math or physics with 4+ years of industry experience
• Computer Science fundamentals in data structures
• Computer Science fundamentals in algorithm design, problem solving, and complexity analysis
• Proficiency in, at least, one modern programming language such as Java or C++.
• Computer Science fundamentals in object-oriented design

Preferred Qualification:
Background in one or more of the following-
Experience building large-scale, fault-tolerant distributed systems

• Willingness to work in an agile, team development environment
• Experience with data mining and machine learning techniques, or a strong background in mathematics and statistics.
• Experience implementing and tuning high performance systems.
• Experience with hadoop, Map reduce, distributed, scalable systems.
• Experien! ce with Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Data mining! , KR
• Experience with presentation layer technologies such as AJAX and CSS
• Experience building complex software systems that have been successfully delivered to customers
• Knowledge of professional software engineering practices & best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
• Ability to take a project from scoping requirements through actual launch of the project
• Experience in communicating with users, other technical teams, and management to collect requirements, describe software product features, and technical designs.
• Advanced Degree such as Masters, phd in computer science, Math or related field with 6 years of industry experience
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills
