Job opening - Senior Back End Developer at Wieden+Kennedy (Portland, OR)

W+K is looking for a savvy software engineer who has the development and system design/architecture skills required to implement custom web-based applications for our clients. The ideal candidate will collaborate with front-end web developers, interactive producers, and our Creative Technology Director to establish the requirements, structure and design specifications for a particular project, and then develop back-end code to implement it.

The ideal candidate will not only possess a hands-on approach to development, but will also work closely with the creative team. In this role, he/she will collaborate with creatives to identify appropriate, relevant and modern technology solutions for interactive campaigns. The Senior Back-end Software Developer will also work closely with producers and clients’ technology teams to identify hosting platforms, make CDN recommendations and create custom applications for websites, mobile apps, banner campaigns or other interact! ive pieces.
