Job opening - OME Technical Writer at College of Life Sciences, Open Microscopy Environment Team, University of Dundee (Dundee, United Kingdom)

The Open Microscopy Environment Consortium (OME) is a growing team dedicated to building open source tools for managing, analyzing and understanding large, multi-dimensional datasets generated in life sciences research and biomedicine. We have lots of great functionality and are entering an exciting phase of development and integration. 


Our team works hard, has a great time, and delivers unique, world-leading applications that are changing  the way bioscience works. OME is well-funded and growing and as a result, we need your help!

We passionately follow open source development and licensing; we make major contributions to Bio-Formats and OMERO software applications that are installed in thousands of labs around the world. We have a team of user experience and support professionals who focus on user experience, innovation, QA and training. We’re looking for a technical writer to join the user experience team and help produce trainingand user documentation for our software.
