SoarTech is looking for a skilled IT support person to ensure the effective operation of our IT support systems including servers, laptops, networks, and various services. SoarTech provides IT services across multiple office locations and for staff who telecommute. Responsibilities:
• Provide support for staff laptops including hardware selection, installation, and maintenance;
maintaining inventory records; and managing warranty repair process
• Manage Windows File Shares/SAMBA
• System administrator for web servers, Subversion/Git server, and other servers including
hardware and software selection, installation, maintenance, and monitoring
• System administrator for cloud-based services
• Develop, implement, and monitor backup processes
• System administrator for n! etwork including implementing, managing, and monitoring DHCP,
DNS, LDAP, and VPN services and monitoring bandwidth usage across multiple locations
• Primary liaison with hardware and software vendors
