This position is responsible for providing overall systems and network management for a Windows-based configuration. This position is the first line of technical support and provides general computer support to all staff at DWA including, but not limited to Windows operating system support, Microsoft Office applications support (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook/Exchange), hardware issues, printing problems, and general network connectivity problems. This position is also responsible for developing and implementing lifecycle management plans and document management standards of practice.
Primary Responsibilities
- Establish measures and assess growth statistics, space forecasts, and software and hardware inventories. Develop and implement lifecyle management plan driven by capital/depreciation impacts and firm growth strategies
- Create and maintain DWA portfolio of applications an! d associated sustain/maintenance/lifecycle costs.
- Develop IT budget and implement process(es) to ensure planning, tracking, and forecasting against annual budget inclusive of spend within baseline budget and new investments.
- Maintains servers, creates monitoring reports and ensures appropriate level of performance.
- Identifies opportunities to improve system performance and reliability including creation of tools to improve user experience and automate routine processes.
- Provide vendor management and oversight for IT contracted resource including development and implementation of Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
- Develop records retention policy and document management strategy to preserve and protect DWA physical and electronic assets
- Develop and maintain technical training curricula including resourcing model to deliver training.
- Using a prioritized approach, implement business ! continuity and disaster recovery plans for critical electronic! processes.
- Troubleshoots issues, responds to user escalations, and performs repairs as needed. Track and monitor helpdesk calls/tickets and conduct root cause analysis.
- Install and configure new hardware/software, as needed
- Develops and promotes standard operating procedures.
Compensation
